"Step right up!" bellowed the ringmaster at the entrance to Circus Maximus, Maxim's fifth annual Super Bowl party, and step right up they did.

On January 30, 2004, Maxim once again defended its title for throwing the biggest, baddest party at the Super Bowl. No small task, considering that each year more and more parties vie for the title. But Circus Maximus-the superexclusive, star-studded, and completely over-the-big-top spectacle-left the competition in the Houston dust. Prior to the event, the press dubbed Circus Maximus as "the hottest ticket" in town; harder to get than tickets to the big game itself! Once doors opened, dozens of celebrity guests poured into the party, including a fully clothed Janet Jackson, Adam Sandler, Cedric the Entertainer, Jimmy Fallon, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Nicole Ritchie, Nick Lachey, Brook Burns, Elisha Cuthbert, Shannon Elizabeth, Johnny Knoxville, Kim Smith, the Rock and, of course, Kato Kaelin just to name a few. Inside, guests marveled at the wonder of Circus Maximus, which featured snake charmers, sexy stilt walkers, contortionists, fire-eaters, fortune-tellers and more. Add to that a full-throttle rock performance by L.A. supergroup Camp Freddy, featuring Dave Navaro, Chad Smith, Matt Sorum, Billy Morrison, Jerry Cantrell, Steve Stevens, Shelby Lynne and Wes Scantlin and you've got a circus-size assault on the senses that left those lucky enough to make it onto the guest list cheering for more. Next year we'll be in Jacksonville, FL. Consider yourself warned!
We would also like to thank our incredible circus performers, the Nerveless Nocks, the Mums, and Brianna for their dynamic performances.

The internationally acclaimed Mums combine the skills of a mythical circus: breathtaking drum-juggling, spinning huge kinetic orbs, jump-roping on stilts and sublime clowning and magic, all choreographed with electrifying sound and speed.

Scintillating, sassy and seductive Brianna thrilled the audiences with daring stilt aerial acrobatics and fire manipulation.
